StarMap of EVE Galaxy Conquest

Beyond asteroid belts and evolving stars, numerous artificial structures enable humanity to explore and conquer

Security Levels

In EVE Galaxy Conquest, regions are categorized by security levels, each offering unique opportunities and challenges for players. Here's a breakdown of the different security levels and what they mean for your journey across the galaxy:

  • High Security: These regions are available during character creation, offering a starting point for new players. However, they come with limited resources and lower risk. In these areas, players cannot capture Grids owned by their Faction’s Chief Commanders, though they can still link to them. High-security regions provide a stable, relatively safe environment for early gameplay.

  • Low Security: As players venture beyond the high-security zones, they enter low-security areas. These regions feature higher-level Resource Grids and are located adjacent to two High-Security regions, making them an enticing area for resource gathering. However, players cannot capture or link to Grids owned by their Faction’s Chief Commanders.

  • Null Security: The Null-Security regions are the heart of intense competition. Located in the central part of the map, these areas contain the most valuable Resource Grids, which are up for grabs by any player willing to engage in the fight. Despite the allure of high-value resources, Chief Commander Grids remains out of reach for capture or linking, ensuring that some boundaries remain for all factions.

Administrative Areas

The Star Map is structured into different administrative levels:

  • Region: The largest administrative unit, containing 4-6 Constellations.
  • Constellation: A medium-sized unit made up of 3-5 Systems.
  • System: The smallest unit, typically consisting of 30,000 Grids.

Most regions are separated by obstacles like asteroid belts, requiring Acceleration Gates or Stargates for passage.

Ambient Structures

Obstacles

  • Asteroid Belts In EVE Galaxy Conquest, Asteroid Belts play a critical role in controlling movement across the map. These massive clusters of asteroids act as natural barriers, preventing Chief Commanders from moving fleets through them. Unlike other regions, where fleets can traverse freely, the presence of an asteroid belt requires players to think strategically when navigating the galaxy. To move fleets past these belts, players must utilize Acceleration Gates or Stargates

Key Structures

  • Stations: Various Factions maintain Stations across different regions. Capturing these increases Galactic Legend's progress.
  • Beacon Lines: Connect Stations and Stargates, only linking to level 0 Grids. Following these paths reduces travel effort.
  • Acceleration Gates & Star Gates: Are essential for navigating the vast expanse of space. These mechanisms allow players to cross through Asteroid Belts and borders that would otherwise act as barriers, enabling access to different regions and strategic advantages.
