Regions are divided into three different security levels based on their risks and rewards:
- High Security: The four starting regions are considered High Security and are relatively barren in resources. You cannot capture grids that belong to the Chief Commanders of your faction, but you can link to their grids.
- Low Security: The low-security areas contain higher-level resource grids. Each low-security area is adjacent to two high-security areas. You cannot capture grids that belong to the Chief Commanders of your faction, nor can you link to their grids.
- Null Security: Grids with the highest level of resources are located in the center of the map for everyone to contest. You cannot capture grids that belong to the Chief Commanders of your faction, nor can you link to their grids.
